Santa’s Village

  • What are your admission rates & height requirements?

    Admission to Santa’s Village is required for any guest that is 36″ or taller. Children under 36″ do not require a ticket to enter Santa’s Village.

    All tickets and passes are for individuals only. We do not offer family passes.

  • Do you offer Disability Rates?

    Disability Rate
    A person with a disability will pay our regular daily admission rate and their aid will be admitted free of charge. This rate only applies to daily general admission tickets and does not apply to a Season Pass.

    Access 2 Card Program

    We are proud to be a participating venue in the Access 2 Card program. A person with the Access 2 card will pay regular admission and their aid will be admitted free of charge.

  • Where is Santa’s Village?

    Santa’s Village is Muskoka’s oldest and largest family-fun attraction. Nestled in Muskoka’s Enchanted Forest, halfway between the North Pole and the equator on the 45th parallel, it is Santa’s summer home of choice.

    The Village boasts three theme parks, a day camp, animals, and a family campground, where kids of all ages can visit Santa, and enjoy rides, games, and countless other family-friendly activities.

  • How old is Santa’s Village?

    Santa’s Village was built in 1955.

  • What are the most appropriate ages for your rides at Santa’s Village?

    Most of the rides at Santa’s Village accommodate all ages, but usually children aged 2-12 enjoy them most.

  • Can I visit with Santa when I’m there?

    Of course! Santa’s Village is Santa’s summer home. You can visit his house, have a chat and take some photos. He and Mrs. Claus would love to see you!

  • Do you have any discounts or special offers?

    Yes!  We offer various discounts throughout the season. Typically we offer discounted general admission rates in the spring and fall.

    We also offer Season Pass discounts when purchasing during the holiday season for the following year.

    Sales and promotions vary from year to year so we recommend joining our mailing list to stay up to date on the most current discounts and offers. Just opt in to our Nice List or like us on Facebook and you will qualify for promotions throughout the season.

  • Can I buy a Season Pass?

    Yes you can! We have two options available for Season Passes:

    Our standard Season Pass and our Gold Season Pass.

  • Do you have strollers?

    *Please note that strollers are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Strollers are available to rent on a first come, first served basis. They are $8.00 (single) and $10.00 (double) with a $10.00 refundable deposit.

     

     

  • Do you offer group rates?

    Yes, we do offer group rates. If you have at least 30 people in your group, you can take advantage of our various group packages that include park tickets, lunch, and more. Visit our Group Rates page for details.

  • Can I buy food at Santa’s Village?

    Of course! We don’t want anyone going hungry. You can buy all sorts of yummy food, including pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, chicken nuggets, ice cream, baked goods, and sandwiches. Visit our Dining & Refreshments page for details.

  • Can I bring my own food into Santa’s Village?

    Outside food & drink is NOT permitted within Santa’s Village. There is a picnic area located outside of the park next to parking Lot B.

  • Can I bring my pet to Santa’s Village?

    Pets are NOT permitted in Santa’s Village, or Muskoka Zip Lines & Aerial Park.

    If you’re looking for a kennel for your pet, you can call Mountain Spirit (705-645-1639).

  • I have a child with a disability. Can you provide him / her with special accommodations?

    We strive to make everyone feel welcome at Santa’s Village. If your child needs special accommodations during your visit, please visit Guest Services, located in the Gate House, and we will be happy to help you.

  • Are your washrooms wheelchair accessible?

    Yes, our washrooms are wheelchair accessible.

  • Are any of your rides wheelchair accessible?

    Unfortunately, most of our rides are not wheelchair accessible. However, there are lots of other fun things to see and do at Santa’s Village for people of all abilities.

  • What is your policy on smoking in the Park?

    Santa’s Village is a smoke free park. To ensure the comfort of all guests within the park, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere within Santa’s Village or Muskoka Ziplines and Aerial Park. This includes the use of tobacco, e-cigarettes, and cannabis. Guests are to use the designated smoking area located in the parking lot. Violators may be asked to leave the property without a refund.

Cabins & Camping

  • What is Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground?

    Located right across the street from Santa’s Village on the Muskoka River, Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground is Muskoka Camping at its finest.  Click here for more information.

  • When is Check In and Check Out?

    We welcome you on site any time after 11 am and we look to have your site ready by 4 pm. Should your site not be ready upon arrival, you are welcome to park in the overflow parking lot and enjoy your day at the campground or Santa’s Village or the Aerial Park. Check out time is 11:00 am. Please see us if you would like to extend your stay.

  • What’s the difference between a standard and premium site?

    The difference between a standard and premium site include location, amenities and/or privacy. Each premium site offers different features. Please call us to discuss the merits of each specific site.

  • How do I get Camper Discounts on General Admission tickets?

    Tickets are not included with your reservation however they can be added.  Campers receive the best value at Santa’s Village.

    In 2023, camper tickets are $43.95 +HST per person.

     

     

  • Are there any kids’ and / or family activities at Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground?

    Yes, there are lots of fun family activities at Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground.  We are currently offering  activities that can be enjoyed by individual families, rather than large gatherings and events.

  • Do you have any cabins or yurts?

    Yes. In addition to sites for your tents and trailers, we also have cabins and yurts available to rent. Click here for more details.

  • What does a cabin / yurt include?

    Cabins:

    • Standard Cabin – bunk style – double over double bunk bed, light table and chairs
    • Standard Cabin – loft style – queen bed on main level and 2 single mattresses in loft area, light table and chairs, NOT SUITABLE for families with children under 5 due to loft access
    • 2 Storey Cabin – queen bed on main level and 6 single mattresses in loft area, light table with 2 chairs, bar fridge and Keurig coffee maker (pods not supplied)
    • Hydro outlet inside with the lights
    • Outside you have water, a picnic table and fire pit

    Yurts:

    • Double over queen bunk bed
    • Light table with 2 chairs
    • OFF GRID – no hydro or water on site or in structure
  • Do the cabins / yurts include a BBQ?

    No they do not. You will need to bring everything you will use to cook on and with.

  • What do I need to bring if I’ve booked a cabin / yurt?

    You will need to bring everything you would take camping except the tent and air mattresses, including something to cook on and/or a grill for the fire pit.

  • Do your campsites have hydro and water connections?

    We offer both serviced (15, 30 and 50 amp) and unserviced sites. We’re happy to help you find the best solution to make your family’s stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

  • Can I drink the water on my site?

    Yes, all of our water is supplied by the municipality and is potable.

  • Is there space for my trailer on-site?

    Yes. We offer spaces for trailers and tents.

  • Is there boat access to the big lakes in Muskoka from the campground?

    Yes, there is access to the big lakes via the Muskoka River.

  • Can I bring my pet camping?

    We allow pets at the campground but require that they be leashed at all times. Owners must clean up after them and ensure that barking is kept to a minimum.  We even have an off leash dog park for your furry family members!

     

    Can I bring them over to Santa’s Village / Muskoka Zip Lines & Aerial Park?

    Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in Santa’s Village or Muskoka Zip Lines & Aerial Park.

  • Do you offer any specials at Santa’s Whispering Pines Campground?

    Yes. We have package specials throughout the summer and fall. Click here for more details.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    Standard Cancellation Policy:

    If you cancel more than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival, your payment, less a $50 cancellation fee, will be returned to your credit card.

    If you cancel within the 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival, all payment is forfeited.  Tickets to Santa’s Village that had been added to your reservation are also forfeited when cancelling your reservation within 14 days of your date of arrival.

     

    Cancellation due to no payment

    If payment was not made by the assigned date, your reservation will be cancelled.

     

    Guest Credit

    If your payment was moved to a Guest Credit, take note of the expiry date of the credit on account.  Check your invoice for details.  Unless otherwise stated on your invoice, guest credits expire at the end of our season each year.

Muskoka Zip Lines & Aerial Park

  • What should I wear?

    Comfortable athletic clothing suitable for the temperatures that day, and close-toed shoes like running or hiking shoes. No sandals or flip-flops. Long hair must be tied back at all times.

  • Do I need a reservation?

    Yes, reservations are strongly recommended. Although we do accept walk ups when our schedule allows, we have a limited number of harnesses and helmets and need to ensure we have equipment and guides for all participants.

  • How do I make a reservation?

  • Do I bring the waiver with me or can I complete one on-site?

    You can either download and print the waiver from this website and fill it out before arriving, or obtain one once you arrive at the park. The Waiver will inform you of the potential physical risks associated with the activities. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian before they will be permitted to start their activity.

  • What happens if it rains?

    These aerial adventures operate rain or shine. The only time we won’t go is if there is thunder and lightning, or really high winds. When this happens we close our courses until the bad weather has passed. Courses are closed for 30 minutes after the last thunder clap. Should your adventure be cancelled due to lightning or high winds, we will gladly re-schedule the remainder of your adventure for another date.

  • What are the age requirements?

    There is no minimum age requirement, however, children must meet the minimum height and weight safety requirements (see below). Children 10 years and under must also be accompanied by an adult throughout the activity. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian before they will be permitted to start their activity.

    • Maximum weight: 250lbs (113kg)
    • Minimum weight is 44 lbs (20kg)
    • Minimum height is 48 inches (122cm)
  • What are the safety requirements?

    • Close-toe shoes are required such as running or hiking shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)

    • For safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted on the activities

    Aerial Adventure Course: Guests need to demonstrate the ability to “self-rescue” during the orientation process.

    A self-rescue is when you hang freely from the safety line and pull yourself back up onto the platform. The inability to be able to self-rescue will mean the guest will not be able to proceed with the climb (a full refund would be provided).
