Campground Policies

Check In/Out
Check in time is mid-afternoon.  We strive to have your site ready at that time.  Should your site not be ready, you are welcome to park in the overflow parking lot and enjoy your day at the campground or Santa’s Village, Sportsland and Eaglecrest Aerial Park.  Check out time is 11:00 am.  Please see us if you would like to extend your stay.

Site Cleanliness
Please leave your site as you found it.  We work hard to ensure your site is clean prior to your arrival, we ask you do the same for the next patrons.  A $25.00 fee will be applied to the credit card on file for sites left in disarray.

Garbage
Garbage containers are located beside the lower comfort station in the overflow parking area.  You are to remove all garbage from your site upon checkout.  Please do not place campsite garbage in the washroom, Rec. Centre or pool garbages – it attracts critters.

Campfires
Each campsite/cabin/yurt includes a fire pit and picnic table, which are to remain on the site. Fire pits are not to be relocated on the site. Campfires must be low by 11:00 pm.  For the safety of all, please extinguish your fire completely before leaving your site or retiring for the night.

Wood
In accordance with Town of Bracebridge fire burning by-law, you may burn only HARDWOOD in your fire pit, all else can result in a $250 fine.  Dry fire wood is for sale at the store.  Please reduce the spread of invasive species by not transporting wood to or from the campground.  Cutting, defacing or nailing/screwing into a tree at the park is prohibited.  Please keep our trees healthy.

Pets
We welcome your family pet, however we must insist that they are kept on a leash.  Pets are not permitted in the pool, pool enclosure, playground or washrooms.  Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet and are asked to keep barking, etc. to a minimum.  For the pet’s health, do not keep them in a locked vehicle.

Children
Children are the responsibility of their adults.  Please ensure children are properly supervised at all times, especially around fires, cooking stoves, the playground and the pool.  BIKE HELMETS MUST BE WORN BY CHILDREN UNDER 17.

Pool
The pool is open from 10:00 am – 8:30 pm daily during July and August (other dates weather permitting).  Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult no younger than 16 years. Patrons must strictly follow the posted rules.  Safety equipment is for Emergency Use Only.  The pool may be closed at any time to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.

Clothing Lines
Please remove all clotheslines from trees upon your departure to ensure the health of Santa’s Whispering Pines.

Site Occupancy
The sites are designed for 4 people with one sleeping structure.  Should you require accommodations for additional people and/or additional structures, please see us at the store.  Daily visitors must register at the Campground Office and must leave the campground by 10:00 pm.  All guests on site after 10:00 pm will be charged an overnight fee.

Smoking
For the enjoyment of all, please be conscious of where you smoke.  By law there is no smoking within 30 metres/10 feet of any doorway.  There is no smoking in any public areas.  Please ensure your butts find a garbage can, not a firepit.

Campground Etiquette
We are a family camping only campground.  Noisy parties, profane language and excessive drinking will not be tolerated.  Use of illegal substances will result in immediate removal from the campground.  Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed at your site.  Please consider using plastic containers/cups and/or cans.  All caps must be placed in the garbage, not in your campfire or on your site.  Fireworks and torches are not permitted.  Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
